Louisiana Farm Bureau News Brand Identity

The newspaper arrived in members' mailboxes long before it lived on a screen. Taking that trust digital required more than a new format.

Louisiana Farm Bureau News, or LFBN, has been keeping members informed on policy, markets, and agricultural issues across the state for generations. The reporting hadn't changed. The audience hadn't changed. But the way farmers were consuming news had and the brand needed to make that transition without losing the credibility the newspaper had spent decades building.

The strategic need: carry the authority of a trusted print institution into a digital platform without starting over.

The updated brand gave LFBN a visual system that could live online while honoring the weight of what came before it. Clean typography, a consistent color system, and a masthead that felt as reliable as the paper it replaced. Because a farmer who trusts the newspaper has to trust the website just as much. In the few instances they did print the newspaper, the brand was able to transition back to print.
